17 Year Old Twitch Streamer Launches Exclusive Sneaker Line
Mercanthony’s not like most 17 year olds. He’s a content-creator, vlogger, and G Fuel sponsored Twitch Streamer. He’s been at it for a long time, but admittedly his career has really begun to kick off in the last two years.
Merc teamed up with Sharebert to design and launch the Mercanthony M1s. The limited edition, futuristic hybrid high-top sneakers are designed and made in Italy. He is the first streamer to launch a basketball sneaker.
This isn’t Merc’s first run at a product line– he recently sold branded t-shirts and hoodies before scoring a sponsorship with popular gaming industry energy drink G Fuel.
Merc attained the deal by showing impressive sales numbers, numbers he claims to be growing on a monthly basis since his partnership began last year.
“Usually when you think of people who release their own shoe line, you think of the best basket ball players, now I’m showing that you don’t have to be Michael Jordan to drop shoes.” he says of the move.
